Skate Across The States
An Ice Hockey Geography Curriculum
Hi my name is Lindsay!
I am a wife, mom of three boys, homeschool mom to two of the boys, and a School Counselor! I am passionate about helping kids align their goals with opportunities!
We are also a hockey family!
Being around hockey has helped me realize how many opportunities are out there to play beyond high school. Therefore, I am combining my knowledge of athletic recruiting, having gone through the athletic recruiting process to play Softball in college, with the opportunities for kids to pursue their goals in hockey.
We live in Alaska!
We travel out of state a lot in order to compete. So I thought, why not combine United States geography with hockey?
This curriculum is a starting place!
While there are links to websites to gather information, my hope is as a family you'll explore beyond the information provided.
Have fun on your hockey journey throughout the United States!
